Privacy & Cookie Notice
This notice explains the cookies this website sets in your browser. It is separate from the Informed Consent Form — that document covers your participation in the research study itself; this page covers how the website works.
Cookies this site uses
This site sets two cookies, both strictly necessary for it to function. Neither is used for advertising, analytics, or tracking across other sites, and no third-party cookies are set.
- ror_consented
- Set once you sign the Informed Consent Form. Remembers that you've completed it so you aren't asked to sign again on later visits, and unlocks the rest of the site. Lasts up to one year.
- ror_screened
- Set once you complete the eligibility screening questions. Remembers that step is done. Lasts up to one year.
Both cookies hold only the fixed value 1 — never your name, answers, or any other personal information. They're marked HttpOnly and Secure, so they can't be read by page scripts and are only ever sent over HTTPS. Your actual consent and registration answers are stored separately, as described in the Informed Consent Form.
Because these cookies are required for the site to work — there is no non-essential or optional cookie to decline — there's no cookie preference toggle on this site. Clearing your cookies will simply ask you to sign the consent form and complete screening again.
